Inspiring healthy lifestyles, working with Wigan Council Public Health, are an integral part of Wigan’s approach to support its people to live active, healthy lives, making it possible for communities to engage in a range of indoor and outdoor programmes, focused on improving health and wellbeing.
We provide a range of health and wellbeing programmes and opportunities for the people of Wigan.
The nationally-recognised Let’s Get Movin’ scheme empowers children, young people and families to get active and improve their health. The programme teaches children how to form positive health and wellbeing habits that will stay with them for life.
