Bolton Arena Sports Village is a trading name for Middlebrook Leisure Trust which is a registered charity.
It is our mission to inspire people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to follow a lifelong passion for sport and healthy lifestyles through the provision of excellent sport & exercise facilities and sports programmes which are accessible to all.
We are governed by a board of trustees, and surplus revenues are reinvested into the facilities, to benefit the local community.
Our overarching aim is to provide the local community with affordable access to the highest standard of facilities, so sport or healthy activities are within reach of people of all ages, ability and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Our gym facilities are used by members aged 14 – 80+ years old, with memberships also including access to studio classes, sauna, steam room, outdoor running track and 1:1 programmes & active sessions.
Other sporting facilities at Bolton Arena Sports Village include our football programme with activities on offer for children as young as 6 months, to our walking football sessions which cater for people up to the age of 80, our tennis programme, featuring the Regional Player Development Centre, and an industry-leading gymnastics programme.
Non-sporting facilities include hosting meeting rooms for businesses, in addition to hosting large scale events such as the Great Northern Wedding Show and Made in Manchester music festival. We have a ReFRESH Café, so whether it’s a light bite before a meeting, or a post-workout refreshment, there is something for everyone here.
