What will my role be as a Business Support Coordinator? 

The purpose of the job is to provide a professional, efficient and high quality service to customers of Your Trust.  This includes working with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Wider Leadership Team (WLT) to support and coordinate the smooth running of a range of business operations including end to end management of meetings, project support including deadlines oversight and document management, diary management and supporting the Company Secretary with Governance activities.

What do I need to have?

  • Qualified to Level 3 / 5 in Business Administration or similar or qualified by experience
  • Extensive experience of working in a business administration or support role
  • Proven experience of working in customer facing organisation
  • Experienced in presenting administrative and financial information in a clear and logical manner
  • Experience of working to a high degree of accuracy and  working in accordance with policies / procedures
  • Experience of best practice in improving, measuring and continually improve a projects performance and effectiveness
  • Proven ability to develop positive relationships with stakeholders, partners and members of the public including effective management of compliments and complaints
  • Ability to use own initiative and think commercially to support the development of the service
  • Strong organisation skills and be able to prioritise and deliver high quality work to deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Ability to co-ordinate multiple tasks to ensure smooth delivery of projects and activities
  • Engaging and enthusiastic communicator, able to adapt their approach for different audiences
  • Ability to work within a team with common objectives with a can-do attitude, a high degree of flexibility and the ability to respond proactively
  • Excellent communication; both oral and written and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent time management skills
